All parts used in this procedure are part of the 8E7290 Snubber Group.
1. Inspect the cab and operators' module for cracks paying particular attention to the areas shown by Illustrations 1 thru 7.2. If the rear module support brackets (Illustrations 1 and 2) are cracked, it will be necessary to remove the cab and module from the tractor to perform the repair.3. Repair the cracks in the cab structure as outlined by the following weld repair procedure.a. Locate the end of the crack. Mark it with a center punch, then drill a 3.18 mm (.125") diameter hole at that location.b. Use a small grinder to vee out the crack.c. Weld repair the crack with a MIG welder using 1.14 mm (.045") solid wire and
