Item Customer Supplied Pressure Target System Regulated Pressure Actual
Dosing Cabinet Supply Pressure Refer to the Application and Installation Guides. 586 103 kPa (85 15 psi) Introduction
Use this procedure to calibrate the dosing cabinet internal pressure regulator. The regulator comes from the factory calibrated but may require field calibration due to:
Component replacement
Component wear resulting air pressure diagnostics
Customer supplied air pressure with in Application and Installation Guide specifications but resulting in occasional air pressure diagnostics.Note: This procedure should only be executed as part of a troubleshooting procedure as detailed in your application-specific troubleshooting guide.Air Manifold Regulator Adjust Procedure

Connect Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat® ET) to the dosing cabinet.
With in Cat ET Override both the SCR Dosing Air Assist Valve and DEF Return Valve #1. The air assist valve must be open allowing air to flow to the DEF lance, and the DEF return valve must be closed which would be normal for active dosing. Both valves must be set to 100% in the Cat ET override screen.
In Cat ET Override screen, Override Air Assist and DEF Return valves.
In Cat ET Override screen:
Set overrides at 100% for Air Assist and DEF Return Valves.
Using Cat ET, Monitor and Record Air Assist pressure:
Inspect customer air supply pressure before air manifold with a gauge. With air assist valve open, ensure that air supply specification is maintained at 586 103 kPa (85 15 psi). (Recommended pressure is 724 103 kPa (105 15 psi))
Adjust customer air supply to dosing cabinet if not in spec to stay within the recommended spec. Once customer Air Supply is in specification continue.
In ET Override screen, monitor Air Assist Pressure. In ET Override screen, Set override air assist to 100% and DEF Return to 100%.Monitor and record air assist pressure: both air and DEF Return valves Override to 100%.
Air Assist pressure is 448 14 kPa (65 2 psi) return cabinet to service (check 2 times).
If not 448 14 kPa (65 2 psi) continue.
Remove the dosing cabinet side access panel, to gain access to the regulator.

Remove protective cap to air regulator for adjustment.
Monitor Air Assist pressure sensor on Cat ET screen.
Using compressed air supplied to Dosing Cabinet - adjust regulator in ET override screen: Set overrides at 100% for air assist and DEF return valves, Monitor air assist pressure on ET screen using 5/32 allen key, Adjust Regulator to achieve Air Assist Pressure Target of 448 14 kPa (65 2 psi).Note: The air pressure solenoid may be hot to the touch when energized. Use caution.
Disable overrides.
Confirmation check - Set overrides for Air Assist and DEF Return valves 100%. Verify that Air Assist pressure is at 448 14 kPa (65 2 psi). Repeat as necessary.
When Air Assist pressure consistently reads 448 14 kPa (65 2 psi), go to Step 17.
Install protective cap to regulator and all access panels. Return to service.
