Timer for the particle detectorThe timer is used in order to provide a time delay before activating the shutdown circuit for the particle detector. The timer has two terminals: "IN" and "LOAD". The timer uses dip switches in order to set the time delay. The timer starts timing when voltage is applied to the "IN" terminal from the circuit of the particle detector. When the timer is timed out, voltage will be applied to the "LOAD" terminal which will then activate the shutdown circuit.ReferenceSee Testing and Adjusting, "Setpoints" for proper settings.Timer (Engine Oil Level)

Timer for the engine oil levelThe timer is used in order to provide a time delay before activating the alarm circuit for the engine oil level.Note: If an annunciator is used, the timer is not used and a jumper should be installed in order to replace the timer. The timer has two terminals: "IN" and "LOAD". Timer for the starting air pressureThe timer is used in order to provide a time delay before activating the alarm circuit for the starting air low pressure.Note: When a complete system or a maximum system with an annunciator is used, the timer is not used and a jumper should be installed in order to replace the timer. The timer has two terminals: "IN" and "LOAD". Illustration 5 g00792103
Timer for the post lubricationThe timer is used in order to provide lube to the turbochargers after the engine is shut off.The timer is a solid state timer with an analog display as a dial indicator. The timer is set up to be an off-delay timer that can be set from 0 to 3 minutes. The center knob is used to move the pointer to the desired time. The timer starts to time when the crank terminate relay de-energizes. The timer will keep voltage applied to the prelube circuit in order to lubricate the turbochargers. When the timer is timed out, the prelube circuit will shut off.Note: The system is not effective with the continuous prelubrication system.ReferenceSee Testing and Adjusting, "Setpoints" for proper settings.
