Loosen hose clamp (2) and hose clamp (4) for hose assembly (1).
Disconnect hose assembly (1) from air inlet connection (3) and crankcase breather canister (8).
Loosen hose clamp (5) and hose clamp (7) (not shown) for hose assembly (6).
Disconnected hose assembly (11) (not shown) from crankcase breather canister (8).
Remove bolts (9) from crankcase breather canister (8).
Remove crankcase breather canister (8) and hose assembly (6) from bracket (10).
Remove hose assembly (6) from crankcase breather canister (8).
If necessary, disassemble the crankcase breather canister. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Crankcase Breather (Canister) - Replace" for the correct procedure.

Follow Step 9.a through Step 9.g in order to disassemble valve mechanism cover (15).
Remove valve mechanism cover (15). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Valve Mechanism Cover - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Remove bolts (12) from breather adapter (13).
Remove breather adapter (13) from valve mechanism cover (15).
Remove gasket (14).
Remove screws (18) and carefully remove baffle plate. (19).
Remove gauze (17) from valve mechanism cover (15).
If necessary, remove blanking plug (16) from valve mechanism cover (15). Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Make sure that the components of the breather assembly are installed correctly. Engine damage may occur if the breather assembly is not working properly.

Clean all parts and inspect all parts. Replace any parts that are worn or damaged. Ensure that the cavity for the breather in valve mechanism cover (12) is clean and free from restriction.
If necessary, follow Step 2.a through Step 2.j in order to assemble valve mechanism cover (15).
Install gauze (17) to valve mechanism cover (15).
Position baffle plate (19) into valve mechanism cover (15).
Install screws (18) to baffle plate (19).
Tighten screws (18) to a torque of 1.5 N m (13 lb in).
If necessary, install a new blanking plug (16) to valve mechanism cover (15). Tighten blanking plug to a torque of 20 N m (177 lb in).
Position a new gasket (14) onto valve mechanism cover (15).
Position breather adapter (13) onto valve mechanism cover (15).
Install bolts (12) to breather adapter (13).
Tighten screws (12) to a torque of 1.5 N m (13 lb in).
Install valve mechanism cover (12). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Valve Mechanism Cover - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.

If necessary, assemble the crankcase breather canister. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Crankcase Breather (Canister) - Replace" for the correct procedure.
Install hose assembly (6) onto crankcase breather canister (8). Ensure that hose clamp (5) and hose clamp (7) are correctly orientated.
Position crankcase breather canister (8) and hose assembly (6) onto bracket (10). Ensure hose assembly (6) is correctly installed onto the connection on the valve mechanism cover.
Install bolts (9) to crankcase breather canister (8) hand tight.
Connected hose assembly (11) (not shown) to crankcase breather canister (8).
Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 10 N m (89 lb in).
Securely tighten hose clamp (5) and hose clamp (7) (not shown) for hose assembly (6).
Connect hose assembly (1) to air inlet connection (3) and crankcase breather canister (8).
Securely tighten hose clamp (2) and hose clamp (4) for hose assembly (1).
