1. Put tool (A) in position under front guard assembly (1). 2. Remove bolts (2) and nuts (3) from each side of the machine. Use tool (A) to lower the front guard assembly and remove it from under the machine. The weight of the front guard assembly is 214 kg (475 lb.). 3. Put tool (A) in position under the forward middle guard assembly (4). 4. Remove the two cotter pins and pins (6) that hold the forward middle guard assembly on the right side of the machine.5. Remove nuts (5) from each side of the machine. Use tool (A) to lower the forward middle guard assembly and remove it from under the machine. The weight of the forward middle guard assembly is 225 kg (500 lb.). 6. Put tool (A) in position under rear middle guard assembly (7). 7. Remove the two cotter pins and pins (9) that hold the rear middle guard assembly on the right side of the machine.8. Remove nuts (8) from each side of the machine. Use tool (A) to lower the rear middle guard assembly and remove it from under the machine. The weight of the rear middle guard assembly is 261 kg (580 lb.). 9. Put tool (A) in position under rear guard assembly (10). 10. Remove nut (12) that holds the rear guard assembly on both sides of the machine.11. Remove bolts (11) that hold the rear guard assembly across the back of the machine. Use tool (A) and lower the rear guard assembly and remove it from under the machine. The weight of the rear guard assembly is 158 kg (350 lb.). The following steps are for the installation of the bottom guards.12. Make sure all of the bolts and retainers for the guard assemblies are in position on the frame before the guard assemblies are put into position.13. Use tool (A) to put rear guard assembly (10) in position.14. Install four bolts (11) and nuts (12) to hold the rear guard assembly in position. Tighten the nuts and bolts to a torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb.ft.).15. Use tool (A) to put rear middle guard assembly (7) in position under the machine.16. Install the washers and nuts (8) to hold the rear middle guard assembly in position. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb.ft.).17. Install pins (9), the washers and cotter pins through guard assembly and frame on the right side of the machine.18. Use tool (A) to put forward middle guard assembly (4) in position.19. Install the washers and nuts (5) to hold the forward middle guard assembly. Tighten nuts (5) to a torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb.ft.).20. Install pins (6), the washers and cotter pins to hold the guard assembly to the frame on the right side of the machine.21. Use tool (A) and put front guard assembly (1) in position under the machine.22. Install nuts (3) and bolts (2) to hold the front guard assembly to the frame. Tighten nuts (3) to a torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb.ft.). Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 1085 135 N m (800 - 100 lb.ft.).
