Information:

IID 10
This IID is used by the CCM to broadcast data. The CCM will send a message with this IID when the time to broadcast data (programmed in by IID 13) has elapsed. For additional information, refer to IID 10 in the "IID Format" section.IID 11
This IID is used to activate a broadcast list that has been programmed. When a list is programmed into the CCM it is set to be de-activated. The list will stay deactivated until a valid IID 11 message is received. Upon receiving an IID 11 command message the CCM responds with a IID 15 message to indicate the validity of the command. If the IID 11 command message is valid and the list is programmed, broadcasting of the data will start. Lists can be activated and deactivated at any time without being reprogrammed. For additional information, refer to IID 11 in the "IID Format" section.IID 12
This IID is used to deactivate a broadcast list that has been programmed. An active list will stay active until a valid IID 12 command message is received. Upon receiving a IID 12 command message, the CCM responds with a IID 15 message to indicate the validity of the command. If the IID 12 command message is valid, the broadcasting of data will stop. Lists can be activated and deactivated at any time without being reprogrammed. For additional information, refer to IID 12 in the "IID Format" section.IID 13
This IID is used to program in a broadcast list. Upon receiving a IID 13 command message, the CCM responds with an IID 15 message. If the command message was valid, then the list will be programmed into the CCM. This IID has several different flags that need to be decided upon at the time of programming.Request Time
This time is used to tell the CCM how often a particular list should be sent. The maximum time is 125.0 seconds in 0.5 second intervals.Programming Flags
The "IID Format" section of this manual gives more detail about the programming flags.Available programming options include:Response format - ASCII or BINARY.Message Terminators - (CR) or (CR+LF).Data Separator - comma, space, or none.Parameters
The message must contain eight parameters. Even if the number desired is only four, the remaining four parameters must be filled with zeros (0). The broadcast response for a partial list will contain data for non-zero parameters only. For additional information, refer to IID 13 in the "IID Format" section.IID 15
This IID is used to indicate the validity of a command message that was just sent. For additional information, refer to IID 15 in the "IID Format" section.IID 24
This IID is used to request an individual parameter. It can only be sent once every second. Another request cannot be sent until the one second has elapsed or the IID 25 has been received. For additional information, refer to IID 24 in the "IID Format" section.IID 25
This IID is used to indicate a response to a single parameter read request (IID 24). For additional information, refer to IID 25 in the "IID Format" section.IID 82
This IID is used to activate and deactivate the broadcasting of fault codes. Upon receiving a IID 82 command message, the CCM responds with a IID 15 message. If the command message was valid, then the fault codes will be sent at the desired intervals. The fault codes are sent in a "pack format" in the order they were activated. The fault codes are the same as the codes in the troubleshooting guide. For additional information, refer to IID 82 in the "IID Format" section.Checksum Calculation
The checksum is an important part of the message. By using the checksum, message integrity is obtained. The checksum is a 2's complement of the summation of all the data bytes in the message. The message is a good message if all the bytes and checksum add up to zero (0).Example:The following example message is sent:5000358131C9(cr)The checksum for this message is $C9. indicates hexidecimal value)Although the message is sent in ASCII, the checksum has to be calculated using the hexidecimal values.
