Distribution engines are built to the OR-3983 engine arrangement. Made as ordered engines are built to the OR-3993 engine arrangement. Both of the remanufactured 3516 EUI engine arrangements for 789B Trucks are built to the following references.* Reference Engine Arrangement ... 7E-9080* Reference Engine S/N ... 2PK1-UpEach remanufactured engine arrangement has a literature group attached, which includes:* Parts Manual* Operation and Maintenance Manual* Lube Instructions* Torque Specifications (for fasteners)* Other specific Special Instructions that will provide, as close as possible, the most current engine/machine configuration.An attached envelope will contain:* Core Credit Request/Packing List* Engine Delivery Service Record.All 3516 EUI remanufactured engines are remanufactured to include the most critical engineering changes for the arrangement ordered. A list of typical critical items follows.* Camshaft* Crankshaft* Cylinder packs* Exhaust manifolds* Exhaust thermocouples* Exhaust valves* Fuel lines and clamps* Lubrication tubes and clamps* Oil coolers* Turbochargers* Valve lifters All non-metallic parts (gaskets, seals) and fasteners (bolts) are replaced and updated parts are included where applicable.This minimizes or eliminates the need for the user to make modifications and reduces downtime provided the CORRECT arrangement was ordered.Some of the engine related engineering changes incorporated in the remanufactured engine received may required machine changes at time of installation to achieve expected performance available from this updated remanufactured engine.Each remanufactured engine is built to a specific power rating at a specific rpm, that agrees with the original engine power rating and rpm.This information is recorded on each remanufactured engine Information Plate.
