This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI31005" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Codeand "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI31005" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
An issue concerning the engine electronic control module(ECM) and software on certain C11, C13, and C15 ACERT on highway truck engines may lead to a situation where the engine will not start and the ECM will no longer communicate with a service tool. The occurrence of this event generally takes place after the truck batteries have been disconnected and reconnected for servicing.
