P22, P23 and P24 are not present on the former 103-6177 117-6200 113-4500 EMCP Electronic Controls (Generator Set Control).Procedure For Setpoint Programming
Note: Service mode cannot be entered when the ECS is in the AUTO position.Note: Any active shutdown fault must be made inactive in order to access service mode. A FLASHING shutdown indicator means that a shutdown fault exists. To temporarily change a shutdown fault from an active shutdown fault to an inactive shutdown fault, turn the ECS to the OFF/RESET position. To permanently change a shutdown fault from an active shutdown fault to an inactive shutdown fault, the fault must not be occurring. Also, the ECS must be turned to the OFF/RESET position. If the jumper from terminal 6 to terminal 9 is not installed on the ECS, then the GSC will not power up in OFF/RESET and any active shutdown fault must be corrected before entering service mode.
Turn the ECS to the STOP position in order to shutdown the engine. Enter service mode and enter the password. "OP 1" is showing on lower display. See Systems Operation, "Service Mode" for more information. See Systems Operation, "Password Entry OP3" for more information.
Press "SCROLL UP" key four times. "OP 5" is showing on the lower display.
Press the "SELECT" key once. "P01" is showing. "P01" is followed by the value of the setpoint.
Press "SCROLL UP" or "SCROLL DOWN" key. The next setpoint is showing with a corresponding value. Repeat this step until the desired setpoint is showing.
Press "SELECT" key. The value of the setpoint is flashing.
Press "SCROLL UP" or "SCROLL DOWN" key in order to adjust the value of the setpoint. Note: To rapidly scroll through a large range of values, hold the appropriate scroll key.
Press "ENTER" key. The value of the setpoint stops flashing. Repeat steps 4, 5, 6 and 7 until all the desired setpoints are adjusted.
Press "EXIT" key. "OP 1" is showing on the lower display.
Press "EXIT" key. The display will return to the normal mode. Setpoint Description
Programming of some setpoints requires the operator to know the model number of the EMCP II. The model number is located on the name plate on the inside bottom of the control panel. The model number is based on panel options and generator ratings. The model number is explained on the 129-4053 Control Panel Chart or 103-1582 Control Panel Chart which is included within the EMCP II. The information on the chart is necessary for programming the setpoints of the GSC. The model number has numerous characters and is similar to "EB3CAS3A1BDSP1CE0". Note: For the correct setpoints, always check the 129-4053 Control Panel Chart or 103-1582 Control Panel Chart. The chart is included within the EMCP II.P01 Fuel Solenoid Type - This setpoint tells the GSC which type of fuel system solenoid is used on the generator set. The sixth character of the model number specifies this setpoint. The default setting from the factory is 0.0 - energize to run (ETR) fuel solenoid1 - energize to shutoff (ETS) fuel solenoidP02 Units Shown - This setpoint controls the type of units of measurement that are shown on the display. A character of the model number specifies this setpoint. The default setting from the factory is 0.0 - English units1 - metric unitsP03 Shutdown Override For Engine Fault - This setpoint tells the GSC the manner in which to respond to a low engine oil pressure or high coolant temperature fault. The customer specifies this setpoint, or the application specifies this setpoint. The default setting from the factory is 0.0 - engine shutdown1 - alarm only
