PROBLEM
Active Regeneration has not been occurring in parked regeneration and manual regeneration modes on certain 308E 2 CR Mini Hydraulic Excavators. Certain machines may not perform active regeneration (in cylinder dosing) during a parked regeneration, or during a manual Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration. Regeneration will not occur even if engine speed is automatically increased by the engine Electronic Control Module (ECM). During the two regeneration modes, the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) inlet temperature must be at least 250 degrees Celsius (482 degrees Fahrenheit) for active regeneration (in-cylinder dosing) to begin. This temperature is not being reached during these two regeneration modes.
The machine software is inhibiting regeneration when at the manual regeneration level. The 3701 - 16 DPF Status : High - moderate severity code is associated with this software problem.
The monitor is not displaying active engine diagnostic codes or alarms that are occurring.
Auxiliary Flow Rate Not Modulated by COMPASS Monitor: The auxiliary flow rate is not modulated when the rate is adjusted (1-15) through the monitor. Electrical current mapping values in the software are incorrect sending max current to the auxiliary valve solenoid and providing full flow to the Work Tool.
