Loosen hose clamp (2) and hose clamp (4) for hose assembly (3).
Remove hose assembly (3) from the connection on pump (ARD air) (1) and the connection on tube assembly (5).
Loosen hose clamp (8) for hose assembly (9). Disconnect hose assembly (9) from the connection on pump (ARD air) (1).
Remove bolt (7) and washer (6) from the adjuster.

Disconnect harness assembly (11) from harness assembly (10). If necessary, remove harness assembly (11) from the clips.
Remove bolt (12) from pump (ARD air) (1).
Remove pump (ARD air) (1) from bracket (13).

If necessary, follow Step 8.a through Step 8.d in order to remove connection (15) and connection (19) from pump (ARD air) (1).
Make temporary marks on connection (15) to show correct orientation.
Remove allen head bolts (14) from connection (15).
Remove connection (15) from pump (ARD air) (1).
Remove O-ring seal (16) (not shown).
If necessary, repeat Step 3.a through Step 8.d in order to remove the remaining connection (19), allen head bolts (14), and O-ring seal (16) (not shown) from pump (ARD air) (1).

If necessary, follow Step 2.a through Step 9.d in order to remove bracket (13) from the engine.
Cut cable strap (20), cable straps (22), cable strap (24), and cable straps (28) from harness assembly (21).
Remove bolts (23), bolt (25), bolt (26) and bolt (29) from bracket (13).
Remove bracket (13) from the engine.
If necessary, remove bolt (31) from bracket (30). Remove the bracket from the engine. Installation Procedure

Ensure that all components are clean and free from damage. Replace any components that are worn or damaged.

If necessary, follow Step 2.a through Step 2.g in order to install bracket (13) to the engine.
If necessary, position bracket (30) onto the engine. Ensure that the bracket is correctly orientated.
Install bolt (31) to the bracket hand tight.
Position bracket (13) onto the engine.
Install bolts (23), bolt (25), bolt (26) and bolt (29) to bracket (13) hand tight.
Tighten bolt (25) and bolt (26) to a torque of 50 N m (39 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (23), bolt (29), and bolt (31) to a torque of 25 N m (221 lb in).
Install new cable strap (20), cable straps (22), cable strap (24), and cable straps (28) to harness assembly (21). Note: Ensure that the cable straps meet Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specifications.

If necessary, follow Step 3.a through Step 3.d in order to install connection (15) and connection (19) to pump (ARD air) (1).
Position a new O-ring seal (16) (not shown) onto connection (15).
Position connection (15) onto pump (ARD air) (1). Ensure the correct orientation of the connection.
Install allen head bolts (14) to connection (15) finger tight.
Tighten allen head bolts (14) to a torque of 3 N m (27 lb in).
If necessary, repeat Step 3.a through Step 3.d in order to install the remaining connection (19), allen head bolts (14), and a new O-ring seal (16) (not shown) to pump (ARD air) (1).

Position pump (ARD air) (1) into bracket (13).
Install bolt (12) to pump (ARD air) (1) finger tight.
Connect harness assembly (11) to harness assembly (10). If necessary, install harness assembly (10) to the clips.
Position washer (6) between the adjuster and bracket (13). Install bolt (7) finger tight.
Connect hose assembly (9) to the connection on pump (ARD air) (1).
Tighten hose clamp (8) for hose assembly (9) securely.
Install hose assembly (3) to the connection on pump (ARD air) (1) and the connection on tube assembly (5).
Tighten hose clamp (2) and hose clamp (4) for hose assembly (3) securely. End By:
Install the belt from the pump (ARD air). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Belt (ARD Air Pump) - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
