Remove four bolts (1) and the washers that hold elbow assembly (2) to oil pan (3) .

Remove two bolts (9) and the washers that hold pump inlet elbow (10) to engine oil pump (5) . Remove four bolts (8) and the washers that hold oil pan elbow (7) to oil pan (3) . Remove pump inlet elbow (10) , tube (6) and oil pan elbow (7) from oil pan (3) as a unit. Remove the tube (not shown) from the oil screen housing (not shown).

Remove oil screen handle (4) and the suction screen assembly from the oil screen housing (not shown) as a unit.

Position oil screen handle (4) , suction screen assembly (11) , and tube (12) , as shown. Remove four O-ring seals (14) from tube (12) . Remove two O-ring seals (13) from oil screen handle (4) .

Remove bolt (15) and the washer that holds suction screen assembly (11) to oil screen handle (4) . Remove suction screen assembly (11) from oil screen handle (4) .Installation Procedure
Note: Verify that all of the components of the suction screen are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.Note: Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Position suction screen assembly (11) to oil screen handle (4) , as shown. Install bolt (15) and the washer that holds suction screen assembly (11) to oil screen handle (4) .

Position oil screen handle (4) , suction screen assembly (11) , and tube (12) , as shown. Install four O-ring seals (14) to tube (12) . Install two O-ring seals (13) to oil screen handle (4) .

Install the tube (not shown) to the oil screen housing (not shown). As a unit, position pump inlet elbow (10) , tube (6) , and oil pan elbow (7) , as shown. Install two bolts (9) and the washers that hold pump inlet elbow (10) to engine oil pump (5) . Install four bolts (8) and the washers that hold oil pan elbow (7) to oil pan (3) .

Refill the engine with engine oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change" for the correct procedure.End By:
