Information:

At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. To prevent possible personal injury, release the pressure in the implement hydraulic circuits (boom, stick and bucket) before any hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed.
2. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system as follows: a. Fully retract the rod in the stick cylinder.b. Adjust the position of the bucket so it will be flat on the ground when the boom is lowered.c. Lower the boom until the bucket is flat on the ground.d. Stop the engine, and put the hydraulic activation control lever in the "Lock" position.e. Move the control levers for the boom, bucket, stick and swing through their full travel strokes. This will relieve any pressure that may be present in the pilot system.f. Slowly loosen the Fill/Vent plug on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.g. Tighten the Fill/Vent plug on the hydraulic oil tank.h. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released. Lines and components can now be removed.3. Open the hood of the machine.4. Drain the oil from the hydraulic oil tank into a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the hydraulic oil tank is 90 liters (23.7 U.S. gal).
At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure. Steam can cause personal injury. Check the coolant level only after the engine has been stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure in the cooling system. Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.
5. Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the cooling system is 22 liters (5.8 U.S. gal). 6. Open the right rear access door to the engine/main hydraulic pump compartment. 7. Remove the bolts and washers that hold sheet assembly (3) in position above the main hydraulic pump. Remove the sheet assembly.8. Remove bolt (1) from the clip that holds cable assembly (2) in position. 9. Remove bolt (4) from the clip that holds cable assembly (2) in position at the opening of the sheet assemblies used between the engine and main hydraulic pump. 10. Disconnect wiring harness (6) and cable assembly (2) from governor control unit (7). Remove the governor control unit, and place it in the pump compartment.11. Remove two sheet assemblies (5) from between the main hydraulic pump and the engine. 12. Put identification marks on all hose assemblies and the tube assembly connected to the main hydraulic pump and pilot pump for installation purposes. As the hose assemblies and tube assembly are being disconnected, put plugs in the ends of them to prevent oil loss and to keep dirt out of the hydraulic system.13. Disconnect hose assemblies (8), (9), (10), (11), (12), (13), (14) and (16). Remove four bolts (15) to disconnect the tube assembly from the bottom of the main hydraulic pump.
View From Under Machine (Typical Example)14. Remove bolts (17), (18), the washers and plate assembly (19) from under the engine.
View From Under Engine15. Remove bolt (20) and the clamp that holds wiring harness (21) in position under the engine.16. Disconnect ground wire (22). 17. Loosen nuts (24) and (25). Disconnect governor control cable assembly (26) from lever (23). Pull the governor control cable assembly out of the bracket on the side of the engine. Move the governor control cable assembly clear of the engine. 18. Put identification marks on all wires and cables that are connected to the electric starting motor and the back side of the alternator. Disconnect the wires from electric starting motor (27) and alternator (28). 19. Remove bolts (29) and (30). 20. Disconnect electrical connector (31). Remove bolt (32). 21. Disconnect electrical connector (33).22. Disconnect electrical connector (34).23. Remove bolt (35). 24. Remove bolt (36) and two screws (37) 25. Loosen two clamps (38). Disconnect two heater hose assemblies (39). Put plugs in the hose assemblies to prevent coolant loss and to keep dirt out of the cooling system. 26. Loosen two clamps (40), and remove upper radiator hose assembly (41). 27. Loosen clamp (42), and disconnect fuel hose assembly (43). Put a plug in the hose assembly to prevent fuel loss and to keep dirt out of the fuel system.28. Loosen clamp (44), and disconnect fuel hose assembly (45). Put a plug in the hose assembly to prevent fuel loss and to keep dirt out of the fuel system. 29. Loosen two clamps (46), and remove lower radiator hose assembly (47). 30. Loosen clamp (48). Disconnect air inlet hose assembly (49) from the pipe assembly. 31. Remove bolts (50) and the washers that hold the upper and lower fan guards in position. Remove fan guards (51). 32. Remove four bolts (52) and fan assembly (53) from the fan extension on the front of the engine.
