This Program must be administered either before or after failure.In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS42589" as the Part Numberand "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code.If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
The existing elbow may cause fuel leaks on certain C13 2007 Truck Engines. The updated fitting now has a crush seal in order to make the elbow more robust to fuel leaks. Only if the fuel fitting is leaking is it considered a failure. All other replacements of this elbow are considered a before failure.

ACTION REQUIRED
Image 1 shows the location of the fitting that does not have a crush seal. Inspect the fitting for a crush seal. If the fitting does not have a crush seal replace the fitting with a 304-1160 Elbow and a new 3K-0360 Seal.
