Loosen hose clamps (10) and disconnect hose assembly (1).
Disconnect harness assembly (3) from inlet manifold temperature sensor (2).
Disconnect harness assembly (5) from boost pressure sensor (4).
Remove bolt (6). Position bracket (7) away from the inlet manifold.
Remove bolt (8) from bracket (9). Position bracket (9) away from the inlet manifold.

Wiring harness assembly removed for clarity.
Remove bolts (11) and position harness plate (12) away from the inlet manifold.
Remove bolts (16) from the inlet manifold (17).
Remove inlet manifold (17) and gasket (13) (not shown) from adaptor (14).
Remove adaptor (14) and gasket (15) (not shown) from the cylinder head.
If necessary, remove boost pressure sensor (4) from inlet manifold (17). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Boost Pressure Sensor - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
If necessary, remove inlet manifold temperature sensor (2) from inlet manifold (17). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Inlet Manifold Temperature Sensor - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.Installation procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Inspect all components for wear and damage. If necessary, replace any components that are worn or damaged.
Clean the gasket surfaces of the inlet manifold, adaptor, and the cylinder head.

If necessary, install inlet manifold temperature sensor (2) to inlet manifold (17). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Inlet Manifold Temperature Sensor - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
If necessary, install boost pressure sensor (4) to inlet manifold (17). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Boost Pressure Sensor - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Install Tooling (A) in Positions (X).
Position a new gasket (15) (not shown) onto the cylinder head. Ensure that the gasket is correctly orientated. Position adaptor (14) onto gasket (15).
Position gasket (13) (not shown) onto adaptor (14). Ensure that the gasket is correctly orientated. Position inlet manifold (17) onto gasket (13).
Install bolts (16) into available positions in inlet manifold (13).
Remove Tooling (A) and install remaining bolts (16). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 10 N m (89 lb in).
Position harness plate (12) onto the valve mechanism cover and install bolts (11). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 26 N m (230 lb in).

Position bracket (9) to the inlet manifold. Install bolt (8) to bracket (9).
Position bracket (7) to the inlet manifold. Install bolt (6) to bracket (7).
Tighten bolt (8) to a torque of 10 N m (89 lb in).
Tighten bolt (7) to a torque of 10 N m (89 lb in).
Connect harness assembly (5) to boost pressure sensor (4).
Connect harness assembly (3) to inlet manifold temperature sensor (2).
Install hose assembly (1) and tighten hose clamp (10) securely.End By:
Install the exhaust gas recirculation valve to the inlet manifold. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Install the throttle valve (intake air) to the inlet manifold. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Throttle Valve (Intake Air) - Remove" for the correct procedure.
