Information:
Mounting
Mount the heating system as low as possible in a horizontal position. This allows the heating tank to completely fill. If the heating tank cannot completely fill, the service life of the heating element will be reduced. The outlet for the fluid must be in the uppermost position.

Slots in the mounting brackets
The unit has two mounting brackets. Each bracket has two slots for mounting bolts. Use bolts, nuts, and washers of the appropriate size for mounting of the unit.Bolting of the unit to the engine's mounting base is recommended. When you bolt the unit to the engine's mounting base, make sure that there is metal to metal contact between the unit and the base. This will provide a ground path to the ground plane.Use an appropriate lifting device to place the unit into position.
The jacket water heater weighs approximately 73 kg (161 lb).
The lube oil heater weighs approximately 73 kg (161 lb).
The combined heater weighs approximately 215 kg (474 lb).Handling of the unit during shipping may have caused vibrations to loosen some of the unit's bolts and screws. Check all of the fasteners. Tighten any loose fasteners.Installation of the Power Supply

Hole (1) in the control box is for the 19 mm (3/4 inch) main power supply's conduit. If the heater was not installed at the factory, route the appropriate conduit from the engine's terminal box to the control box's hole (2) for the 24 V power supply's 12.7 mm (1/2 inch) conduit.Use the liquid tight conduit. Use proper support and alignment in order to avoid strain on the conduit.Main Power Supply
These heating systems must be operated at the correct voltage. Improper voltage results in problems such as damaged components, reduced service life, and inability to produce enough heat. In addition, the pump motor must be operated at the correct frequency. All current heating systems use three-phase voltage. The standard voltages and frequencies for the heaters are listed in Table 1.
