Status Bar
Illustration 1 g06033666The status bar is at the top of the DCU display screen. The status bar displays engine state (1), alarm status (2), and icons (3).Engine States (1)
The following is a list of the engine state texts that appear in the status bar.Ready - Ready to start.Starting Denied - A shutdown event is active, refer to the alarm list.Start Disabled - Something is preventing start (such as the start disabled switch or a "Ready to Start" condition such as "Starting Air Pressure is Low").Shutdown Stopping - A shutdown event has occurred and the engine is stopping.Shutdown Stopped - A shutdown event has occurred and the engine has stopped.Initial Start Delay - The DCU is verifying that all starting conditions are satisfied.Prelube Manual - The DCU has received a start command from the local operator or the remote panel (RP). The DCU is prelubing the engine.Prelube Automatic - The DCU has received an automatic start command (from the PMS or switch gear). The DCU is prelubing the engine.Cranking Manual - The DCU has received a start command from the local operator or the RP. The DCU is starting the engine.Cranking Automatic - The DCU has received an automatic start command (from the PMS or switch gear). Pressing the "Alarm List" button to display the alarm list also silences the buzzer. The Alarm List button is the bell on the right side of the DCU, next to the touchscreen. The buzzer will begin again if a new alarm occurs while the alarm list is displayed. Press the "Alarm List" button to silence it and stay in the alarm list.Numbers

The following are the available filters:Panel Alarms - Only show alarms generated by panels such as DCU, SDU, and RIO.J1939 Diag. - Displays only DM1 alarms from the two J1939 buses.All Alarms - All alarms are shown.Silence All Alarms (Excluding SDU Alarms)
Press and hold the Acknowledge button for one second. The DCU may be configured to acknowledge visible events only. If so, the notification seen in Illustration 5 will be shown.
