Information:


To prevent possible personal injury, do not disconnect any hydraulic lines until all the hydraulic pressure has been released from the system.
Start By:a. drain all fluids from the engine systemsb. drain water tanksc. remove fan spiderd. remove engine guard 1. Remove the eight bolts that hold the fan drive pulley guard. 2. Loosen the fan drive belt tension. Aside belts.3. Support the pulley and pillow blocks with hoist. Remove four bolts that hold the pulley and pillow blocks to the fan drive. Remove the pulley and fan drive.4. Loosen the hose clamps on the lower radiator hose at the water pump to allow for the later removal of the lower radiator tube.5. Remove two bolts from lower radiator hose support clamp from air box.6. Loosen lower radiator hose clamp from radiator (inside the air box). 7. Remove one bolt from the upper guard rail and the air box. 8. Disconnect throttle at pivot linkage. Remove one support screw from throttle linkage. Aside two hoses from the water spray pump and throttle linkage. Disconnect the electrical connection to the clutch pulley. 9. Disconnect one fuel line from the priming pump and the filter base. Aside one fuel line from the primary filter. 10. Disconnect or remove five hoses (1) as necessary to provide clearance for removal of engine. Cap or plug immediately.11. Disconnect or remove three tubes (2) as necessary to provide clearance for removal of engine. Cap or plug immediately. Mark or identify all hoses and tubes for later assembly.12. Remove eight bolts that hold the rear floor plates to the machine.13. Remove the two floor plates.14. Mark or identify all hoses from the auxiliary, propel and conveyor pumps. Remove and aside all hoses. Cap or plug immediately.15. Disconnect two lines to the air compressor. Remove support clips. Aside lines.16. Remove wires from the alternator and aside.17. Remove nut and three ground wires from the frame.18. Disconnect or remove wiring harness (3) as necessary to provide for removal of engine. 19. Loosen two hose clamps (4). Disconnect hose.20. Loosen two hose clamps (5). Disconnect hose. Mark or identify hoses for later assembly. 21. Remove fan guard (6). 22. Remove bolt (7) (left rear). 23. Remove tube (8).24. Remove hose (9). 25. Remove bolt (10) (left front). 26. Disconnect electrical connection (11). Disconnect wires from the hour meter and two sensors on the oil filter base.27. Disconnect oil pan drain line (12) from the oil pan. 28. Disconnect water line (14).29. Remove tube (13). 30. Remove nut (15). 31. Remove two screws (16) from solenoid (17). Remove all clamps holding the wiring to the block. 32. Disconnect starter wires (18). Remove all clamps holding wiring in position. mark or identify wiring for later assembly. 33. Remove all clamp bolts for wiring harness (19) that will interfere with engine removal. 34. Disconnect auxiliary system pressure filter line (20). 35. Remove six bolts (21).36. Remove plate (22). 37. Disconnect circuit breaker wiring (23). Mark or identify for later assembly.38. Disconnect or remove two hoses (24) as necessary to provide for removal of the engine. Cap or plug immediately.39. Disconnect alternator wire (25). 40. Remove bolt (26) (right rear). 41. Remove bolt (27) (right front).42. Attach a lifting device and hoist to the lifting eyes of the 3208T (Engine B) diesel engine.
Check for any connections or interference before lifting engine skid from machine. Lift slowly and repeatedly check for any connections or interference.
For installation of the engine (3208T Engine B), reverse the removal steps.End By:a. install engine guardb. install fan spiderc. fill water tanksd. fill all fluids into the engine systems to correct level
