Information:
2. Remove rear drive shaft (1) from the machine. See rear drive shaft in the power train disassembly and assembly section. 3. Remove six bolts (4) and cover (5) from rear support assembly (3).
When raising the rear of the machine, do not allow the rear axle housing supports to disengage from their mounting bolts (2) in the rear frame. If the rear axle housing supports disengage from their mounting bolts, the rear axle housing will rotate and allow the support assemblies to fall off of the rear axle housing. This can result in personal injury.
4. Remove the nuts and washers that hold the two support assemblies (3) for the rear oscillating axle to the rear frame.5. Put wooden blocks in front of the front tires to prevent the machine from moving. Fasten a hoist to the rear frame of the machine.6. Lift the rear of the machine just enough to provide a maximum clearance of 50.8 mm (2.00 in.) between support assemblies (3) and the rear frame after tooling (A) has been installed under the rear frame. Lift the rear of the machine, and install tooling (A) under the rear frame. The weight of the rear of the machine without the rear axle housing assembly is 3409 kg (7500 lb.). 7. Remove the bolts that hold oil pan (11) to the engine. Lower the oil pan to gain access to the bolts that hold the pick-up tube to the engine block and the oil pump. The pick-up tube must be removed to provide clearance for the oil pan when it is removed.8. Remove bolt (7), the nut and washer that hold strip (8) to clip (6).9. Remove two bolts (9) and oil pick-up tube (10) assembly from the oil pump.10. Remove oil pan (11) and the gasket from the machine.Install Oil Pan
1. Inspect the oil pan gasket, and make a replacement if necessary.2. Put oil pan (1) in position as shown. Do not install the bolts that hold it in place at this time. 3. Put oil pick-up tube assembly (5) in position on the oil pump, and install two bolts that hold it in place.4. Install bolt (3), the nut and washer that hold strip (4) to clip (2).5. Put oil pan (1) in position on the engine, and install the bolts that hold it in place. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 25 7 N m (18 5 lb.ft.).
When raising the rear of the machine, do not allow the rear axle housing supports to disengage from their mounting bolts (6) in the rear frame. If the rear axle housing supports disengage from their mounting bolts, the rear axle housing will rotate and allow the support assemblies to fall off of the rear axle housing. This can result in personal injury.
6. Fasten a hoist to the rear frame of the machine. Lift the rear of the machine, and remove tooling (A).7. Lower the machine onto rear axle housing supports (7). Make sure the dowels in the rear support are in alignment with the holes in the rear frame. Install the eight washers and nuts that hold the supports to the rear frame. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 475 50 N m (350 37 lb.ft.).8. Put cover (9) in position on the rear support assembly, and install six bolts (8) that hold it in place.9. Install the rear drive shaft on the machine. See Rear Drive Shaft in the Power Train Disassembly And Assembly section.10. Reinstall the drain plug in the pan. Tighten it to a torque of 70 14 N m (50 10 lb.ft.).11. Fill the engine with clean oil to the correct level. See Maintenance Guide.END BY:a. install air tankb. separation of steering frame lock link
