Introduction
An improvement has been made to the above listed excavators in order to increase engine performance. When the excavator is operated at higher altitudes, the replacement of the turbocharger and the muffler will be particularly noticeable. This modification will require the replacement of several engine components. The timing of the fuel injection pump will also be retarded by 6 degrees.Read the instructions. Make sure that you understand the instructions before you order any parts and/or before you make any changes to the engine.Reference: Service Manual, Parts Manual, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Service Magazine April, "Improved Engine Configuration Will Operate At Higher Altitudes"Parts Required
