DEF Injector Aftertreatment #1 DEF Doser Valve #1 Override: Initiate the "Aftertreatment #1 DEF Doser Valve #1 Override" through Cat® Electronic Technician (ET) to activate the DEF injector circuit.
DEF Line Heaters DEF Line Heater Test: Initiate the "DEF Line Heater Test" through Cat ET to activate the DEF line heater circuits. Review active diagnostic codes to determine if a code is present.
Note: There is a SMART relay (data link type) that the ECM control's via the data link to supply power to the DEF line heaters.
DEF Tank Heater Valve Aftertreatment #1 DEF Tank Heater #1 Override: Turn the keyswitch to the ON. Initiate the "Aftertreatment #1 DEF Tank Heater #1 Override" through Cat ET to activate the coolant diverter valve circuit.
Engine Retarder Solenoid Engine Solenoid Override: Initiate an "Engine Retarder Solenoid Override" through Cat ET to activate the engine retarder solenoid. Review active diagnostic codes to determine what code is present.
Engine Starter Motor Relay Attempt to start the engine. Once the ECM attempts to energize the relay, the code will become active. Refer to the machine-specific schematic for the "Engine Starter Motor Relay" wiring circuit.
Ether Solenoid Use the "Ether Injection Override" in the override parameters section in Cat® Electronic Technician (ET) to activate the ether starting aid solenoid. Review active diagnostic codes to determine what code is present.
Fuel Dosing Valve (Fuel Pressure Control #2) Turn the keyswitch to ON and the fuel dosing valve will automatically activate.
Fuel Shutoff Valve (Fuel Pressure Control #1) Turn the keyswitch to ON and the fuel shutoff valve will automatically activate.
Relay for Fuel Pump Fuel Pump Relay Override Use the "Fuel Pump Relay Override" in the override parameters section in Cat ET to activate the fuel pump. Review active diagnostic codes to determine what code is present.
