Remove support clamp from throttle cable and air filter assembly frame.7. Position linkage (5) for clearance during engine removal. 8. Disconnect two fuel lines (6) for clearance during engine removal.9. Disconnect two fuel lines (8) for clearance during engine removal. Fuel lines are clamped to the engine at three locations. Remove bolts and aside fuel line assemblies from engine for clearance while removing the engine.10. Disconnect two electrical connections (7). 11. Disconnect four nuts (9) to remove wiring harness before engine removal. Mark or identify wiring for later assembly. 12. Repeat Step 10 on starter on opposite side of the engine. Mark or identify wiring for later assembly. 13. Remove clamps and wiring harness (10) from the block to the engine oil sensor and the shutoff solenoid to allow for engine removal. 14. Loosen four hose clamps (11).15. Aside hose (12) for engine removal. 16. Disconnect fuel line (13). 17. Loosen two hose clamps (14).18. Disconnect hose (15) from tube (16).19. Remove tube (16). 20. Cut the wire ties (17) on the filter assembly frame that secure the harness for exhaust temperature sensor and the speed sensor on the flywheel housing. Disconnect sensors and aside. 21. Remove the three front floor plates (18) (two are shown as removed) for clearance during the engine removal. 22. Cut wire ties from the dipstick. Remove dipstick and bracket assembly (19) from engine. 23. Remove floor plate as shown on rear of engine.24. Support the air filter assembly frame with hoist and straps.25. Remove eight bolts (21) (not shown) from the base of the air filter assembly frame and engine flywheel housing.28. Remove air filter assemblies (22).29. Remove cutter belt guard by disconnecting four pins and one brace with two bolts.30. Release belt tension and aside cutter drive belt for clearance during engine removal. 31. Disconnect hose (23) from cutter drive manifold. Remove two bolts (25) from hose support bracket (24). Set assembly aside.32. Mark and identify all wires from the main harness (main harness is on the left front side of the engine) to the components. Disconnect and remove the harness to provide clearance for the engine removal.33. Attach a lifting device and hoist to the engine. 34. Remove two bolts (26). 35. Remove four bolts (27) on rear of engine.36. Remove two bolts (not shown) that mount cutter housing clutch assembly to the engine.
