Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

If necessary, remove Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) driven equipment from the accessory drive. Refer to the OEM for the correct procedure.
If the OEM driven equipment was not installed onto the accessory drive. Remove bolts (4) and remove blanking plate (5). Remove seal (6) (not shown).
Remove banjo bolt (3) and remove sealing washer (1) (not shown) and sealing washer (2) (not shown).
Remove banjo bolt (10) and remove sealing washer (8) (not shown) and sealing washer (9) (not shown).
Remove tube assembly (7).

Remove bolts (13) from accessory drive (11).
Remove accessory drive (11) from flywheel housing (14). Remove seal (12) (not shown).

If necessary, follow Step 8a through Step 8c to disassemble the assembly of accessory drive (11).
Remove circlip (15) from gear (19). Position accessory drive housing (17) on a suitable press with Face (X) in the down ward position. Press the gear out of the accessory drive housing. Support the gear as the gear is pressed from the accessory drive housing.
Use Tooling (A) to remove bearing (18) from the shaft of gear (19).
Position the accessory drive housing on a suitable press with Face (W) in the down ward position. Press the bearing (16) out of the accessory drive housing. Support the bearing as the bearing is pressed from the accessory drive housing.Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Ensure that all components are free from wear or damage. If necessary, replace any component that is worn or damaged.

If necessary, follow Step 2a through Step 2d to assemble the assembly of accessory drive (11).
Position accessory drive housing (17) on a suitable press with Face (X) in the down ward position. Press bearing (16) into the accessory drive housing. Ensure that the bearing is pressed into the accessory drive housing squarely. The bearing should be pressed up to the shoulder in the accessory drive housing.
Position gear (19) on a suitable support with the shaft in the vertical position. Press bearing (18) on the inner edge of the bearing onto the shaft. Ensure that the bearing is pressed onto the shoulder of the shaft.
Position accessory drive housing (17) on a suitable press with Face (W) in the down ward position. Press bearing (16) and gear (19) into the accessory drive housing. Ensure that the bearing is pressed into the accessory drive housing squarely and up to the shoulder on the accessory drive housing.
Install circlip (15) to gear (19). Ensure that the circlip is correctly located into the recess of the gear.

Install a new seal (12) (not shown) to accessory drive (11). Ensure that the seal is correctly seated into the recess of the accessory drive.
Install accessory drive (11) into flywheel housing (14). Ensure that the accessory drive is correctly orientated and is seated into the flywheel housing.
Install bolts (13) to accessory drive (11). Support the accessory drive as the bolts are installed.
Tighten bolts (13) to a torque of 44 N m (32 lb ft).

Install a new sealing washer (2) (not shown) onto banjo bolt (3).
Install a new sealing washer (9) (not shown) onto banjo bolt (10).
Install banjo bolt (3) and banjo bolt (10) to tube assembly (7).
Position tube assembly (7) onto the accessory drive and the cylinder block. Install remaining sealing washer (1) (not shown) and sealing washer (8) (not shown). Hand tighten banjo bolt (3) and banjo bolt (10).
Tighten banjo bolt (3) and banjo bolt (10) to a torque of 17 N m (150 lb in). Ensure that tube assembly (7) is not strained as the banjo bolts are tightened.
