Information:

2. Remove plates (1), (2) and (3) from the engine. 3. Remove air lines (8) from the air compressor.4. Disconnect governor cable (7) from the lever. Loosen nut (6) and pull the governor cable clear of the engine.5. Disconnect wire (9) from the solenoid.6. Disconnect wires (10) from the starting motor. Put identification on wires for assembly purposes.8. Remove two nuts and washers that hold plate (11) to the frame. Pull disconnect switch and plate clear of the engine. 9. Disconnect wires (12) from the water temperature switch and pull clear of the engine.10. Remove water temperature switch (13). 11. Disconnect water line (14) from the elbow.12. Loosen clamp (15) on the water pump.13. Remove the bolt that holds bracket (16) to the cylinder block and remove tube assembly (17) from the engine. 14. Disconnect wiring harnesses (18) and (19).15. Remove tube assemblies (20) and (21) from the transmission oil cooler. 16. Disconnect oil line (22) from the collector at the bottom of the flywheel housing. 17. Fasten tooling (A) to the loader frame and the back of the transfer gear case as shown. This will hold the transfer gears, transmission and torque converter in position when the engine is removed. 18. Put a floor jack (23) in position under the front of the transfer gear case as shown so that the transfer gear case, transmission and torque converter can not tilt toward the front of the machine. 19. Fasten a hoist and tool (B) to the engine. Remove the bolts from the engine front support. 20. Disconnect fuel lines (24). Put covers on all the fuel line connections to keep dirt and foreign material out of the fuel system.21. Remove bolts (25) that hold the torque converter housing to the flywheel housing. Remove the engine from the machine. The weight of the engine is 3315 lb. (1492 kg).Install Engine
1. Fasten a hoist and tool (A) to the engine. Put engine (1) in position in the machine.2. Install bolts (3) that hold the torque converter housing to the flywheel housing. Install the bolts in the engine front support. Remove tooling (B) and the floor jack from the transfer gear case. 3. Connect fuel lines (2). 4. Connect oil line (4) to the collector on the bottom of the flywheel housing. 5. Connect the three wiring harnesses (5).6. Check the O-ring seals on the tube assemblies for wear or damage. If necessary make replacements. Install tube assemblies (6) and (7) on the transmission oil cooler. 7. Put tube assembly (10) in position on the water pump and tighten clamp (9). Install the bolt that holds the bracket to the cylinder block. Connect line (8) to elbow. 8. Install water temperature switch (12).9. Connect wires (11) to the water temperature switch. 10. Install water lines (14) on the air compressor.11. Install plate (18) and disconnect switch on the frame. Connect wires (17) to the starting motor. Connect wire (16) to the solenoid.12. Put governor control cable (13) in position in the bracket. Install cable end (15) on the governor lever. Tighten nut (13) on the bracket. 13. Install plates (19), (20) and (22) on the engine.14. Connect tube assembly (21).end by:a) install air reservoir (824C) *b) install radiator and guard*This operation location is in the VEHICLE SYSTEMS, DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY section.
